C10H11N2⁺ · quinolinium salt5-Amino-1-methylquinolinium is not a peptide but a membrane-permeable small molecule. It selectively blocks NNMT, an enzyme over-expressed in adipose tissue in metabolic disease. Inhibiting it preserves S-adenosylmethionine and the NAD⁺ precursor pool, shifting adipocyte metabolism away from storage.
Pre-clinical studies report reduced adipocyte size, lower fat mass and improved muscle stem-cell regeneration. The 50 mg vial supports extended in-vitro and in-vivo work.
